My Students

One of my 3 classes includes special needs students. Disabilities range from dyslexia to language impairment. Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend, and our school also has over 70% free or reduced-priced lunches.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best.

I want to help them stay organized and control of their own learning.

My Project

Students are needing to access their educational curriculum digitally. It is essential for students to have a good working pair of headphones so that they can listen to the instructor. I continue to pay out of my own pocket to provide my students with headphones because their families just don’t have the funds in this trying and difficult time. Getting this project funded would be so helpful to students who do not currently have access to earbuds or earphones at this time. Everything I create for them requires audio support.
