Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a community in south Los Angeles. These second graders are a true source of inspiration. They come to school every day with so much so much enthusiasm despite their community environment. It is so beautiful to see their smiles in the morning and their eagerness to learn.

My students come to school every day with so much enthusiasm and positivism, it is truly inspiring.

It is truly important for me to try to give them the tools necessary to keep their love for learning alive. I have a students that every day she walks into the classroom and with a huge smile asks me, "What are we learning today?" I love that my students use each day to learn something new!

My Project

These headphones are going to make a great difference in the learning of my students. We are now in the age of technology and my students may not have access to the technology they need to succeed at home. This is why it is crucial I provide it in my classroom. With these headphones my students will be able to create Podcasts that will help them with their listening and speaking skills. It will also help students that may be struggling with their writing to talk about their ideas first and then listen to themselves in order to begin their writing pieces.

With these headphones my students are going to be able to create fantastic Podcasts, writing pieces, and listen to their favorite stories in an interactive way.

Students have different learning modalities and it is crucial that I provide as many resources for them in order to fulfill their needs.
