Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a seventh-year technology teacher at a very large, high needs school in New York.

Imagine a room full of 35 students using computers with the audio clashing so that they can't hear. Imagine those same students working with headphones, thus able to hear their computers!

I am requesting thirty-five pairs of headphones in order for the 1,200 students at my school to get all they can out of their once a week lab time.

Many of my students do not have computers in their homes. By enabling them to listen when using the computer, you will be helping to prepare them for a future that becomes more technologically dependent daily.
