My Students

My students are my life! For me, making their lives better and more enriched is my passion! We live in the urban city of Charlotte, and I have students of every kind. The diversity is amazing. We have students of all races, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.

My students are scholars!

Often, I get visitors observing my class, and they see a variety of things happening such as me standing on desks, singing, dancing, experiments, stations, collaborative group work, or students teaching other students. My students have a thirst for knowledge, and they always strive to fly higher than the rest! We are Ravens!

My Project

One of my main philosophies as a teacher is that education should be personalized to the individual student. One way that I personalize their education is by putting them on their own pathway through the material based on what they know and their strengths as a student. Sometimes those pathways involve interactive videos, regular videos, virtual experiments, or various computerized animations. Unfortunately, this requires the students to have headphones so only they can hear the sound of their activity while I pull small groups to have mini-lessons with them. The miniature stools I am requesting are for students to be able to gather around a desk for a mini-lesson. Please help by making a small donation that will help me revolutionize my students' education.
