My Students

My students are thinkers, dreamers and explorers in the making. They yearn to discover and create new things.

My students are the epitome of heart, ingenuity and creativity.

They come from a wide range of backgrounds, but they all love to dream big and aren't afraid to take risks. Being in a Title I school, we have students from both extreme poverty and middle class families all working together and encouraging one another to achieve great things and make the world a better place.

My Project

My students LOVE to talk. They love sharing their stories, their hopes and dreams, and their interests. They love to share the things that make them unique.

This project will help my students tell their stories to a wider audience through professional sounding podcasts.

With the RODE microphone, my Newspaper class will be able to record high quality podcasts connected to their interests. My Language Arts students will be able to record reflections over their learning, audio versions of their novels, news broadcasts over historical events, personal narratives and so much more.

This project gives the students a global audience. It will give them the opportunity to create something that can impact people around the world. Most importantly, this project is giving the students a voice.
