My Students
More than half of my students are from low-income families. Their young minds are sponges soaking up all the learning they can. A student's tools and environment help engage them to learn. I love to make my class bright and engaging for them.
My students work hard and try their best.
Learning to read and write is difficult, but they press on toward the goal. They are learning lifelong skills that they will use. They are a joy to teach!
My Project
Students will be able to set up the classroom as a campsite! They will get to learn in a camping environment the last week of school, after working so hard all year long. They will get to put their geography skills they have learned into practical use.
They will review many of the years standards they, have learned, as they are singing campfire songs and doing camping crafts.
All while getting ready for the next grade. Students will be fishing for the answers. They will be finding a tranquil place to curl up with a great book or write an adventure!
