Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year brings a different unique group of students. This year is a pleasure to continue working with students with disabilities. I will be working with a fantastic group of all boys! The boys are different as each of them have their own needs the needs to support for SEL.

There is so much growth that takes place in a fifth grade classroom.

Students are growing out of the elementary school phase into middle school leaders.

The new themed of camping/campfire will bring an analogy of being independent. Student will get a new rug. My class has not had a rug in it since COVID started. The rug will work as a meeting spot for students to engage in mini lessons and hands on activities. It will also act as a reading spot for students. Students will also get classroom decor such as fireplaces, bulletin board sets, themed table decor, and pencils. All the items will allow for flexibility to work comfortability around the classroom with the seat cushions for the theme as well.
