My Project

I have a group of hard-working middle school students. They all come from low-income families. I love that they try so hard to beat the odds and excel in their academics. I would like to create a calm relaxing area for them in my class that will help them unwind and use the resources I hope I get in this project to relax.

The pandemic has caused a lot of mental and emotional havoc in my students' lives.

They can use a zen calming area to unwind and relax.

I would like to provide a calm area they can sit, read books, meditate, color pages, and relax. I am absolutely sure this will have a lasting positive impact on their lives and on their academics.
