My Project

I have selected items for this project that will help a group of special needs students remain calm in the classroom. I hope that they will see them as soothing but also as an incentive. These students need to have some more simple items that they can focus on, to recover from difficult moments. After those difficult moments, we can set up a time to use the more interactive items, which might inspire them to be engaged in classroom learning for a longer period. Particularly the Sphero Mini, that allows students to use coding skills, will be a great distraction and an incentive for those days that are very hard.

The target group for these items is middle school students who struggle with friendships and self-esteem.
