Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are working hard every day to readjust to the way school worked prior to the pandemic. The systems, routines, and expectations are all very different from when they were in elementary school. These differences require students to make hard and challenging adjustments.

The goal of this project is to provide opportunities for students to earn rewards through positive intervention practices and have tools necessary for success available as needed.

Our students are coming to school hungry, stressed, and looking for support. These young people are special because some of them may be the first to graduate in their family, or the first to go to college. Many have persevered throughout their lives.

Helping our students creates a pathway for a successful future and a thriving community.
