My Project

Hello Donors,

I am a social worker at a school in New York, where I work with students from Kindergarten to 5th grade, providing both mandated counseling and at-risk counseling.

The students I work with face various emotional, social, and behavioral challenges that can make learning and interacting with peers difficult.

Many of my students would greatly benefit from sensory items that can help them regulate their emotions, focus better, and engage more positively with their surroundings. Sensory tools such as fidget toys, stress balls, weighted blankets, and calming visual aids have been shown to make a tremendous difference for children, especially those who are overwhelmed or struggling to express themselves.

With your help, I can create a calming, supportive space for my students to thrive, feel safe, and learn better ways to cope with their emotions. Please help me help my students by providing these sensory items, which will positively impact their daily school experience and overall well-being.
