Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The material that I would like for my student would add to the calming space that has been created for the students. The calming space is very limited to the materials that students are able to access. I will be able to start adding booking in the bookshelve that i will have alongside the calming area. Also, if student just need a place to relax or manage their emotions, fidgets are very helpful when students are trying to regulate or even communicate. In additon, the puppets will be utilized to role play with student difficult situations that they may be encountering.

These donations will help my students mental health by providing a calming space with the effective material to utilize.

Student will also be able to learn advocacy skills and utilize them when they need time to de-escalate or manage their emotions. I would trouly appreciate the support to make this happen for my students.
