Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Often, we forget that our role extends beyond academic education to include social and emotional development. By donating to my classroom, I can provide engaging social-emotional learning lessons and Conversation Starters for Kids. Healthy snacks will be used as incentives. Since reading is not a subject many students enjoy, my class can be challenging. Students often struggle with reading, leading to anxiety when frustration sets in. Help me make reading more enjoyable, relaxing, and engaging.

These materials (sensory toys, flexible seating, etc.) will help alleviate student stress while learning reading strategies and skills, enabling me to cultivate strong readers for the future.
