My Project

This school year as a school we are working on using a system called Zones for Regulation to help with behaviors and feelings. Part of identifying our feelings and emotions is having a calming corner in the classroom.

"There's Always a way to turn things around." -- Joy from Disney's Inside Out.

This is one of the nice things about having the Calming Corner. I have a basket with a few fidgets and it would be great to add some more quiet type fidgets and textures to the calming bucket. The canopy also helps provide a safe and enclosed space, where I can still keep an eye on the students as they are sitting there.
