Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in an integrated coteaching k8ndergaten classroom. We have students that struggle with focusing attention, high energy, and calming down when upset.

Calming tools with help these young students regulate and focus on work.

The weighted toys will sit on laps and shoulders during work time to help with sensory input and focus. Deep pressure helps with ADHD, autism and sensory seeking behaviors.

The lights with help my students that need visual stimulus and it will help with focus.

Some students are sensitive to too much noise. The muffs will help with that, especially during lunch.
