Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom range from age 5-9 years old, kindergarten through third grade. My students are my babies and they can do extraordinary things when given the opportunity!

My students all have intellectual disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy, etc.

The students who I serve as some of the most significantly impacted students in my school district. They all have require significant behavior, academic, and sensory support. I am trying to set up a sensory room in my classroom to help student with self-regulation and calm down strategies. Any support would be much appreciated.

My Project

My students are significantly impacted by their disability and this light table would give them an outlet to calm down and destress when it gets to be too much for them. Help me in setting up sensory room for my classroom to help students with self-regulation.

With so many different behavior and sensory needs, it can get overwhelming for students to be with other students.

By helping me build this sensory room, you will be helping in providing a safe and calming place for students to go to help them calm down. My students will love using this table in our classroom.
