The idea behind this quote is something we focus on daily with our students.

Our students have so much potential in them both artistically and educationally. They need the resources to be able to express this potential.

My students love to learn and learn in many different ways. Being able to provide each of them their own unique learning situations helps to make them successful in their learning. My students are hard workers and love to be pushed in their educational experiences. My students have so much energy, and, at times, they just need resources available to them to help them focus better in the classroom.

My Project

My students require many built in supports in our classroom to be successful. They are very hardworking students who just require more support than others to be successful. These supports can be a variety of different things that they can use.

With these yoga mats and yoga cards available in our classroom on a regular basis, we will be able to implement yoga into our everyday classroom routine.

Yoga not only helps to calm them down at the start of their day, but it also is a great way to calm them down when they get distracted or upset about something in the classroom. When my students get worked up, taking a couple minutes to do something such as yoga is a great way to help bring them back to the activity that they were supposed to be completing. Not only does this help them to regain focus, but it also helps to calm them down.
