Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is made of young diverse multicultural learners. They are young children who are still learning to manage their emotions and be part of a classroom environment.

Help me give my students a positive way to manage their emotions.

This Cozy Calming Corner will be a place where the students can escape the classroom and take a few moments to relax.

The area will be filled with not just cozy materials, but art and writing supplies to help express their feelings. An echo dot will also be provided to give the students an opportunity to listen to relaxing music that can help them calm down. Various workbooks, kinetic sand and play dough will be accessible for students who need to escape. While the hanging canopy will give the Cozy Corner a sense of solitude in a overall busy class.
