Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a rambunctious group who love to be into everything. They give their all and sometimes they need to wind down and go to the cozy area to relax and calm down. They have even sent me there when they say I need to breathe.

My students know the cozy corner is a place for them to reflect on their emotions and where they can use the resources there to regain control of themselves.

Social Emotional Learning goes hand in hand with our learn through play ideals, where we can explore our feelings and our response to them.
