Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class has great students. They are excited to be attending school this year in person. We have spent the first days of school getting to know each other and have had great participation.

All students have completed a class job application, listing experience and reasons why they should be hired.

Everyone is an active part of our class. We generated class guidelines and students try their best to adhere to them. We are having a great time in our room.

My Project

Students in my room love having options! We are a new classroom with limited resources and I have been working hard to make our space warm and welcoming. I have brought random items from home for students to use and they have been very well received. I like giving students the option of moving around the room to work collaboratively and complete work together in groups.

I am looking to add some flexible seating to offer students an alternative fun place to get work done as well as a calming corner for students who need a minute to regroup and rejoin the group.

We are looking to have both designated as well as flexible options where students can go work together or take a minute and make every day the best day.
