Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials wished for in this project will help my students create their very own Calming Corner. This corner will be where they can take time away from the group to relieve overstimulation, express their emotions in a healthy way, or use the space as independent study time. This corner will be very beneficial to student learning by allowing the students a safe space to go when overwhelmed by the typical classroom setting. This corner will have calming materials and activities for the students to utilize before returning back to the lesson.
