This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Coming to school should be a safe and fun place to learn. Having a calming corner in the classroom will help students who are having a challenging time regulating their emotions. My students will be able to select a quiet area to sit on a comfy bean bag. A variety of fidget toys/stress balls and coloring books can help soothe and calm their nerves. The ability to have options in the classroom to assist them on making good choices is crucial and can help them transition back to the classroom learning environment.

Please help me provide a safe and fun space in my classroom for my students.
