Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As part of my efforts to create a positive and supportive learning environment for my students, I would like to introduce a calming corner in our math classroom.

This space will provide students with a quiet and soothing area to regroup and refocus when they’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed.

The calming corner will include two comfortable bean bags for relaxing, a small table for students to work or calm down at their own pace, and a few sensory fidgets to help with focus and self-regulation.

By contributing to this initiative, you can help create a space that promotes emotional well-being and academic success. Your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of my students.
