This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are very enthusiastic learners who are very curious about the world. But as all parents know, kids could have big emotions, which could disrupt our kids from learning properly. This is where a calming corner comes in handy. Having a calming corners gives our kids peace of mind. By having bean bags for sitting somewhere comfy, noise cancelling headphones to help block out loud voices, a mirror to look at their emotions honestly, a breathing tool to help calm their bodies, a white noise machine to create a peaceful environment and other items, we can create harmony in our classroom.
