This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Emotion regulation is a vital piece to make it through anyone's day. I would like to create a classroom that has tools for students to explore how they can regulate their emotions.

All supplies will be used to support healthy social emotion regulation and coping skills.

As a second year counselor, I am looking to expand the options in my current classroom to meet the needs of more students. Students can use the fidget toys to help with their calming techniques. The floor pillows will be used for meditation and alternate seating.
