Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A calming corner is a great way to help support self-regulation. Creating a calming corner in the classroom allows students to take a break when needed while still being present in the classroom. This will give the students a safe space to self-regulate their emotions and behaviors.

Developing peer relationships enables students to recognize their own emotions as well as their peers and learn how to manage them.

Please help me to provide this option for students to minimize time spent out of class so that they can focus more on learning and experience success.
