My Project

A calming area is a useful strategy to teach self-management. Including it in the classroom helps students process an experience or de-escalate when they are having a difficult time. Please help me fund this project to provide my students with this pivotal resource. My students are an eclectic group of individuals that span the whole spectrum of emotional thresholds. During our given 30-hour school week, we reach peaks and valleys of socio-emotional experiences all the while working diligently to meet or exceed academic benchmarks with this in mind I look to support my students with this classroom resource to facilitate optimal learning environments for the whole child.
