Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help our 5th graders have a space in our classroom to calm down and relax when they are feeling anxious, angry or stressed. It is important for us to teach our students to recognize their feelings especially when they're not well. This space will allow the students to deescalate in class for a few minutes. I'm also including the option for the students to have a fidget at their desk to help them monitor their emotions!

It is imperative for students to recognize that their feelings are valid and learning to navigate through tough emotions.
