Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is dedicated to creating a safe place for our students to relax, regroup, refocus. Providing a comfy and calming area for students that are struggling with their emotions will help to ease students back into learning. We want our students to feel comfortable expressing their feeling as well as have a safe place they can visit when they are feeling overwhelmed. Learning becomes easier when self-regulation skills are developed as well as learned strategies to cope with different emotions.

Our calming corner will be used for students who need to go to a quiet place to regulate their feeling and emotions so they can continue to learn!
