My Project

Having a safe space to calm down is an important part of an early childhood classroom. A cozy corner area can help give my students the space and items they need to regulate their emotions and behaviors to help them get back to a learning mindset. The chair will be a comfortable and designated cozy corner item. The busy book would be the perfect activity to help the students calm down while in the cozy corner area.

Many of my new students will have sensory needs and would benefit from having these sensory toys.

Having these will help me meet their needs and help them feel safe and ready to learn in our day to day routine.
