My Project

Please help support my students. My role is to support students with their mental health needs. We provide prevention, intervention, and ongoing support to students in need. Many of my students are beginning to learn about mental health and coping skills, and are engaging in wellness activities on a weekly basis. I am asking that you help support my students, so they can have the mental health resources they need. Some of our students struggle with a variety of compounded and layered issues that they have no control over. They need a calm space when they are dysregulated, and I want to create this space in our room using cushions, lighting, a Happy Hut teepee, and calming posters. Please help support our students' emotional well-being growth so that they can heal, thrive, and succeed not only academically, but emotionally as well.
