This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students struggle to focus on independent tasks when they see other students taking a break or working with other teachers. The Classroom dividers would help me to separate my students safely. The 3 drawer organizers can hold their work folders and their preferred sensory items. I work in a Title 1 school and there are limited financial resources available. I also want to help create a calming corner, so my students have a safe place to deescalate. My goal is to increase student learning and achievement by helping them focus. I want to be able to meet their specific needs. My students are Autistic and have many sensory needs as well as academic needs. Please help me make the best learning environment for my very special little friends.
