This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials will help students with their social emotional learning. My classroom will include a calming corner for students to take a break whenever their emotions are running high or they need to take a moment for themselves.
Kids need breaks!
So a calming corner is just what they need to take their breaks. From fidgets to a drawing board, they will have the necessary materials to take their minds elsewhere and just relax.
I have also included a few essentials in this project that can be used in the classroom: easel paper for anchor charts, laminating sheets, and one final tablet to fill that empty slot in our class charging station!
