This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My calming corner will be amazing space that will allow my students to be aware of their own emotions.They will learn to identify their emotions so they can better regulate them. Students will be soothed as they sit, step or hop on theses mesmerizing liquid tiles as they watch the colors seep and swirl. It is the perfect way to provide a satisfying sensory experience. Sensory toys will also be used to provide hands on activities.

Students love working alone or with friends to complete a floor puzzle.

Whether they are learning about the planets in our solar system or identifying states in our country puzzles develop their understanding of spatial relationships while having fun.
