This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Stress and anxiety are common challenges that many students face in today’s fast-paced world. These feelings can significantly impact their ability to concentrate, participate, and learn effectively. To support my students' mental well-being, I want to create a calming corner in our classroom, equipped with Slow Rising Stress Balls, Fidget Toys, Cube Puzzles, and Spinners. These stress-relief tools will help students manage their emotions and regain focus during the school day.

Students often feel overwhelmed by academic pressures, social dynamics, and personal challenges.

When stress levels rise, it can be difficult for them to engage in learning or stay focused on their work. By providing a simple, tactile outlet for their stress, such as fidget toys and stress balls, we can help students healthily take control of their emotions.

The stress-free gadgets will be available in a designated calming corner of our classroom. Students can use them whenever they feel anxious, frustrated, or need a moment to refocus. This small break will allow them to return to their tasks with a clearer mind and better emotional balance. The fidget toys are designed to provide sensory stimulation, which is known to help reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.
