My Project

Studies have shown that many students who live in areas of chronic noise (i.e. cities) tend to have higher levels of stress. Many of my second grade students are triggered by noises, so having the tennis balls to limit the noise that their desks and chairs make can automatically make a difference to many scholars' focus.

All scholars, regardless of SES or race, deserve a classroom that will feel welcoming, inviting, and worth learning in.

Along with the tennis balls, the chair bags can assist in eliminating extraneous noise from having to dig in desks or get up for more materials. They can ease their minds by having their necessary items easily at hand.

The other items that I am asking for are to assist in creating that welcoming, inviting space that allows the scholars to feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to learn as a PBIS school.

These materials will be used in order to create a better learning experience and engage more students with what is being taught.
