Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having books that help show us ways to deal with our emotions are helpful. The students will see their feelings being validated and show them ways that the characters are able to calm down. The tools are available for the students to use during their time in the calm area.

An area that feels welcoming and calm helps us regulate our emotions.

The calm bulletin board paper helps create that feeling of warmth. That warmth will help them relax and get ready to return to their learning.

Students that are able to regulate their emotions are able to perform better academically. This helps them overall in their academic future. A well rounded individual is what we want our students to be.
