My Project

Having a "calming area" in the classroom will give my students a place for peace and reflection.

Our calming area is designed to give students a place to sit, calm down, and take a break.

The soft, cushy couch and canopy corner will be comfortable and inviting for our young ones. Students can relax and read when they are feeling nervous or overwhelmed. This is a space where students can check in with their feelings, calm down, and reflect on what they've done, learned, and want to achieve. The twinkly lights will add a whimsical and enchanting touch!
