My Project

My students are independent, eager learners at VACS. My class consists of 30 9th graders who are learning multiple subjects. My students face barriers that include low-income backgrounds and socio-emotional needs.

Since we are in a virtual setting, I'd like to create "Calming" packages.

I've requested materials that my students can access when they need a break from class. My students will greatly benefit from these "calming packages" because they'll be accessible and engaging. I'm hoping students will enjoy using the items in their calming packages since there will be a variety of fidget items to help relax their minds and recharge.
