Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright and enthusiastic. They come to school to be safe and learn. Many of them have very strong emotions due to family issues. We need to help them learn to deal with these emotions.

We need a calming area to help my class focus on their feelings.

We have a safe space for my students to go to when they are upset or sad. I would like to give my class fidget toys and materials to help my class practice their social emotional skills. I would also like to provide books and activities using the ink to use during class to show them how they can deal with any feelings they may have. Please help our class get a calming area to feel safe and happy.
