My Project

The supplies I am requesting will give the kids a space to step away from all the stress they have pulling at them each and every day. This calming area would support my students mental health and improve my positive classroom environment, in turn, supporting their learning and academic ability.

I want this area to be something they can rely on when times get tough for them.

I want it to support them. The bean bag chairs will give them this opportunity. Furthermore, I will have the bookcases filled with entertaining and relaxing books as well. The lights will give a certain ambiance to the area!

The students are the reason that I get up every day excited to come to 'work'. While people love to say teaching is a thankless job, I have grown and gained so much from working with these kids.

The bean bag chairs and carpet would give the students the ability to enjoy the area to the fullest. The mirror will allow the area to seem more open. The table with the plants on it would help add to the calming environment. The lights would give the calming area a stronger calming vibe to separate it from the rest of the class!
