Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a 5th grade class of 22 amazing dual language learners. My students come into class eager to learn despite the stressors that they face in and out of the classroom.

Providing a space for my students that allows them to de-stress, explore and regulate their emotions will provide them with instant and long-term benefits.

Your donations will fund an inviting environment with bean bag chairs and throw pillows where students can relax. Donations will also supply the calming area with books and tools that will help students regulate their emotions.
