Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is a collaborative classroom with children that have special needs. Our students work great together and help each other learn. The calming corner materials like the kindness set will continue to cultivate their empathy towards each other. The emotion charts will help them identify their feelings and regulate them. We will have a lesson on kindness and self regulation where we will discuss how our actions can make others feel. The calming corner will have the materials needs for them to easily access them and utilize them. Thank you in advance.
