This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to create a safe calming space for my students! My students deserve a space to feel safe, and I want them to have a safe space in my classroom where they can express their feelings and learn how to self regulate. I have a space for my students with a few items I've purchased, but I have not had an opportunity to buy these amazing resources that will be so beneficial to my students who need to practice self regulation. They will be able to utilize these resources, including a sensory tent and fidgets, daily!
