Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are energetic, fun, loving and sweet. They are all each special in there own unique ways and I enjoy getting to know them.

A calming area will provide a space for my students to be alone when they need to recharge, as well as a space to calm down after having big feelings.

The quiet time privacy cube will provide this private area for my students and the feelings emotions dolls will help students identify how they are feeling. I will use the weighted blanket to help students focus during lessons as well as a tool to help students calm down.

The rest of the materials will help this area look inviting to the children. Thank you in advanced!
