My Project

I provide RSP services to a group of incredible children in grade TK-5. My students have a wide range of disabilities which impede their ability to learn independently in a General Education setting. My students predominantly come from low-income households which makes it difficult for them to have access to resources that could positively impact their academics and social emotional health.

Despite the enormous challenges my students face, they are still kind, hardworking and genuinely excited to come to school to learn.

While my students and I have been practicing important life skills like emotional regulation, impulse control and anxiety management, we need more tools and resources. With your generosity, I will be able to purchase books on self-management, a bookcase, and coloring supplies to give my students a safe, calming corner where they can not only deescalate but learn strategies for controlling difficult emotions. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our project. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us.
