My Project

My students are outstanding, loving, and caring, but have bad days just like adults, and providing and having a space in my classroom for my students to address their emotional needs and a place to cool down will benefit their social-emotional well-being.

The calming area will build on the feelings they encounter every day, it is used to teach students calming techniques to decrease agitation, aggressiveness, irritation, sadness, and any feelings they are dealing with.

This gives them a chance to calm themselves before processing the cause of their actions/misbehavior.
