This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are wonderful 4/5 years old children, who most of the time come eager to learn. Most of them have never attended school until now. They are inquisitive and full of energy. Although most of the time they are eager to learn, they sometimes experience emotions and do not know what to do with them or how to release them.

As many of us, these children are full of emotions, and need resources to learn how to deal with their emotions.

Help me give these students a safe area where they can process their emotions. This area will be a space where students can just sit and breathe, draw, build a tower, use the light box table, sensory toys, or just squeeze a ball when they are not feeling well.
