Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in the spectrum and I am in love with their individual brains that makes them unique. My students struggle with their different challenges everyday, inside and outside the classroom. For example, they learn in different ways and communicate differently using communication devices because some of them are non-verbal. These challenges makes them special because they do not give up and are willing to make progress.

They need a calming area in the classroom, so they can learn calming techniques to help them cope in the classroom and outside in the environment.
