Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All the requested supplies will be used to create a space where students can go to decompress and develop the practice of processing their emotions in a healthy and productive way. Every item will serve as a tool, comfort, or resource for the students when they are feeling overwhelmed.

All students need a space where they can learn to name and process their emotions.

Our student population particularly has experienced significant stress and instability. A calming corner can provide students the safe space they need to process the emotions and triggers that arise from their experiences.
